Shane West's long, lean frame is lust inspiring, and his lips are particularly luscious, but it's this Louisiana-born babe's defiant onscreen attitude that we find magnetic (it's so hard to resist a bad boy, isn't it?!). Whether playing a troubled teen on the highly acclaimed TV Show "Once and Again"...or a small-town rebel in the recently released tearjerker "A Walk To Remember", this sexy 23-year- old has his toughguy act down. In real life, he even fronts a Los Angeles punk band, "Average Jo", which recorded a song for the soundtrack ..."A Walk To Remember". Here, Shane reveals his sweeter side. 

COSMO-"Are you the romantic type?" 

SHANE-"Actually, I kind of wear my heart on my sleeve. In high- school, my nickname was Hopeless Romantic. If I was interested in a girl, I did a lot of surprise, lovey-dovey kinds of things like bringing a rose to school or writing poems. I'm still like that deep- down, but it's hard to find somebody who I can be that way with." 

COSMO-"What lesson have you learned about love?" 

SHANE-"If you play it cool, women respond. Still, I like to call whenever I feel like it. I don't wait two or three days. In every relationship I have had, I've just gone for it." 

COSMO-"What do you look for in a girl?" 

SHANE-"I'm attracted to petite girls. My first girlfriend was Rachael Leigh Cook, so that type. I also like older women. With some people my own age, I'm the only one talking." 

COSMO-"In your own opinion, what do you think is your best physical feature?" 

SHANE-"I'd have to say my chameleon eyes. They change colour with what I wear, so they look really yellow sometimes, really amber sometimes, really green sometimes. 

COSMO-"Tell me about your first big-screen kiss." 

SHANE-"It was with Marla Sokoloff in "Whatever It Takes". I had a girlfriend, but there were definitely sparks. It was really cool and very sensual...but a bit awkward because my girlfriend came to the set, unbeknownst to me, which was really annoying. Marla's boyfriend came too, so it was like..."Yeah, we're here to watch you snog!".
